Can I track my order?
Yes, you can! After your order has been dispatched, you will be sent an email with your tracking number and link to the courier's website to check the progress of your delivery.


Pre-orders
If you have placed an order for an item currently on available on pre-order then your item will be shipped as soon as it becomes available. The estimated shipping dates will be specified on the product page of the item you have ordered, so please refer to this for more information.

If you have ordered multiple items and including an item on pre-order, we typically ship the whole order together once the pre-order item becomes available, we do this in order to cut down on waste of sending multiple packages with packaging materials. If you would prefer to have your items shipped separately then please get in touch on hello@goldtrip.co


Can I add a gift message to my order?
A gift message can be added to your order in your shopping cart. Once you have selected the products you would like to order, head to the cart page to review your order.
On the cart page, you can select 'Leave a note with your order' to add a message onto the shipping note for your recipient. The gift message will then be (neatly!) hand-written in a Gold Trip greetings card and included within the parcel.


I am sending a gift to a friend, can you exclude the price on the receipt?
Our dispatch notes never include pricing details so you do not need to specifically request this.


Do you ship overseas?
Yes. All of our products are shipped from the United Kingdom and are available to be shipped worldwide. UK VAT is included on all products automatically but for orders going overseas, you will be responsible for paying any import duties or taxes, where applicable. Please consult your local authorities to check what, if any, import duties/charges you may be eligible for.

 

When will my order be dispatched?
All orders placed Monday-Friday will be typically be dispatched the next day.
This does not apply to pre-order items, please refer to the specific product page for estimated dispatch dates for pre-orders.

 

How can I return my order?
Please note that you must request a return within 14 days of receiving your item and that the return must arrive back with us within 28 days of receipt of your item. Unfortunately, returns logged 14 days after receipt/anticipated receipt are no longer eligible for a refund. We cannot accept returns/refunds on earrings or ear cuffs due to hygiene reasons. I've lost one of my earrings, can I buy a single replacement?
If they're still in stock, then yes. We will be happy to sell you a single earring at 50% of the cost of a new pair. Please email customercare@goldtrip.co to arrange this.

 

What materials are used?
The majority of our jewellery is made from hypoallergenic 925 sterling silver and plated with either rhodium, 18ct rose gold or 18ct gold. A few items are made of stainless steel or alloy materials which are then polished or plated in 18ct rose gold or 18ct gold. All pearls are genuine freshwater pearls. Crystal detailing is made from cubic zirconia stones.

Please refer to the product description of each item for more details on its properties.

All of our jewellery is lead-free, chrome-free and nickel-free, however, due to our manufacturing environment, we cannot guarantee that some very small traces of these metals won't be found.

For GT Vintage products, please consult the individual product description as some of these items, due to their age, can contain nickel and other materials outside of the above-mentioned materials.

 

How is your jewellery packaged?
All Gold Trip jewellery comes in a high-quality presentation box with either a foam insert or microfibre pouch inside; the individual product pages will specify how the product will be presented. Our microfibre pouches can be purchased individually to store and transport your jewellery with care and ease.

Each order is wrapped in tissue paper and sent alongside a dispatch note within in a discreet brown postal box.

 

My order arrived but something is missing/damaged. What do I do?
Please let us know as soon as possible, within 24 hours of your order arriving, otherwise we may not be able to help. Send a message, with a photo of the issue if relevant, to customercare@goldtrip.co and we'll get back to you within 24 hours (Monday-Friday) with a solution.


How can I make a purchase?
Click on the 'Add to cart' button on the product page to add items to your shopping cart. Once you are ready to complete your purchase, click the shopping bag icon at the top right-hand corner of the page.

The following cards are accepted at our checkout: Apple Pay, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Switch, Solo and Delta. PayPal payments are also possible. We now also offer payment plans via Klarna.

Please ensure you check your full name and address when placing your order. If you think you have made an error once you've already completed the check out process then please get in touch as soon as possible via customercare@goldtrip.co quoting your full name and order number. 

Please note that a mobile number is required for the courier, it will not be used other than to update you, where applicable, on the delivery of your order.


How do I enter a discount code?
Once you are ready to place your order, click on the shopping cart and then click the 'Checkout' button at the bottom of the page. You will now be directed to the checkout page where you will be asked to enter your name and address. On the right-hand side of the page you will see your order details along with a discount code box. Enter your code into this box and click 'Apply'. The discount will then have been applied to your order. Click 'Continue' at the bottom of the page to go through to the payment details stage of the checkout process.


What's the best way to take care of my Gold Trip jewellery?
To prevent your Gold Trip jewellery from breaking or tarnishing easily, follow these simple tips, which will keep your jewellery looking shiny and intact for as long as possible:

• Be extra careful with plated jewellery so as not to scuff them. Keep plated jewellery items separate from other jewellery which may scratch it. Keep them protected in a jewellery box.
• Avoid exposing your jewellery to solvents, perfumes, hair sprays or other chemicals. Make sure that these are applied and fully absorbed or patted dry before putting on your jewellery.
• Oils in skin and sulphur in some knitwear can tarnish jewellery, avoid letting your jewellery come into contact with these where possible.
• Do not wear your jewellery whilst in bed, showering, gardening, doing housework, swimming or at the gym.
• Keep your jewellery away from hard surfaces. Bumps and scratches will cause the plated layer to wear away faster.
• Be aware that constant/very regular wear will cause plating to fade quicker.
• Put jewellery on last when dressing and take off first when undressing.
• To prevent jewellery tarnishing, use some anti-tarnish tissue paper to wrap your fashion jewellery in, which will give your jewellery the best protection against blemishing.
• For a nice polished finish, use a soft cloth or glasses cleaning cloth to gently wipe the surface of your jewellery.
• For crystals and gemstones, do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean gemstones as they can cause scratching. Use a soft damp cloth to carefully wipe them instead.
